What is your favorite medium to work in?

What is your favorite subject matter?
My favorite subject matters are mystical portraits of women and semi-anthropomorphic creatures.

What art tools do you use, and do you have any tools or brands that you recommend?
I personally use Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos, but there are a myriad of equally efficient programs to use.

What sources would you recommend for artists that are interested in pursuing your art medium?
For any art medium, the internet is often the best place to begin. Many creators make YouTube videos providing tutorials, advice, and demos. There are also online classes and subscriptions, such as Schoolism, that give comprehensive tutorials.

How and when did you start creating artwork?
There wasn’t a starting point as much as there wasn’t an ending.

If you could give any advice to your past-artist-self, what would it be?
Do not think that there is a certain type of art or subject matter expected of you. Experiment often, and learn the difference between observing other’s work for inspiration versus comparisons.

If you could create anything in the world, what would you create?
I don’t think there’s a true answer to this question, as I have a constantly changing artistic vision and dream.

What is your ultimate goal as an artist?
In my personal artistic journey, I’ve found it’s important to be flexible with your dreams and goals. As you learn more about yourself both personally and artistically, your goals will change.

Are you ready for the Halloween season? Is it your favorite holiday?
I love Halloween! However, I think the entire Fall season is my favorite.

What do you love most about The Haunted Mansion?
The environmental storytelling. You can feel the love that went into creating the ride. I also enjoy the beautiful practical effects, which I think are so much more magical than digital ones.

Who is your favorite Grim Grinning Ghost/room at the Mansion?
The Portrait Gallery! I’m still obsessed with the changing of the portraits in the lightning, it’s one of my favorite effects.

The 2003 Haunted Mansion film with Eddie Murphy, yay or nay?

Which is better and why: the traditional Haunted Mansion, or Haunted Mansion Holiday?
I unfortunately haven’t been able to visit the Holiday version!

Would you take a hitchhiking ghost home?
